How To Get Rid of Clogged Pores

There are many tiny pores present in the skin. Sometimes these pores in the skin get clogged with oil, dry or dead skin cells, and daily dirt and debris. Also, the pores can get clogged when the skin is inflamed due to the presence of excess white blood cells. Such clogged pores result in blackhead and acne. #1.) Apply Fuller’s Earth Mask
Fuller’s earth is an effective home remedy to get rid of clogged pores and clean them naturally. Fuller’s earth acts like a sponge as it helps drawing out the stuff which is responsible for clogging pores. Also, fuller’s earth is highly useful for oily skin treatment. It helps prevent excess oil secretion and leave your skin feeling clean and healthy. Add 1 tbsp each of fuller’s earth, oatmeal and water and mix them well. Apply the mixture on your clean face. Leave it to sit for about 10 to 15 minutes. After that, rinse your face with water and pat it dry with a soft towel. Apply a moisturizer and repeat this process once a week.
Alternatively, take 2 tsp each of fuller’s earth, sandalwood powder and rose water. Mix them well to form a thick paste. Add a little water, if it’s too thick. Apply this paste on your clean face. When it dries completely, wash it off with lukewarm water. Repeat the process weekly.
#2.) Take Help From Baking Soda
Baking soda is an excellent exfoliating agent and helps to clean pores. It helps unclog pores by removing dead skin cells, dirt, excess oil and other impurities. It is also helpful for maintaining the right pH balance of the skin. Baking soda also helps to get rid of whiteheads. It is among the best home remedies to get rid of clogged pores treatment. Prepare a facial cleanser with the help of baking soda and water. Take 2 tsp of baking soda and 1 tsp of water. Mix them well together to make a fine paste. Apply the mixture on your face and massage gently in a circular motion for 5 minutes. Leave it for about 5 minutes before rinsing it off with lukewarm water. Pat dry with a clean towel. It also helps reduce the size of the pores and keeps your skin free from dirt and impurities. It is very effective in treating clogged pores on forehead. Take one egg white and whip it until it forms a foamy texture. Refrigerate it for 5 minutes and after that mix the juice of a half lemon. Apply this thick mixture on your skin. Allow it to sit for about 10 minutes and later wash it off with warm water. Repeat this process once or twice a week.
Alternatively, you can also prepare a homemade scrub. Take 1 tbsp each of ground almonds and honey along with one egg white. Blend all the ingredients well to form a thick paste. Apply the paste on the face and scrub gently in circular motions. Leave it until it dries completely and then wipe it off with a wet washcloth. Repeat this facial scrub once or twice a week.
#4.) Steam The Area
Steaming the face is one of the inexpensive and highly effective home remedies for clean pores and get rid of clogged pores naturally. Steaming helps in unclogging pores. It also helps loosen all the trapped impurities inside to be washed away. Add some water in a pot, cover the pot with a lid and heat it for some time. Remove the pot when the water gets hot enough to release steam. Cover your head with a towel and lean over the steaming water. Let the steam get absorbed into your face. Do it for about 10 to 15 minutes or until you feel comfortable. Later pat dry your face and apply a mild moisturizer to protect your skin from getting dry.
